What is Mechanochemistry?

​​While mechanochemistry in ball mills and twin extruders as a synthetic methodology is nowadays a flourishing field, the fundamental understanding of mechanochemical reaction mechanisms is only incipient. Our team works toward improving software and methods for the analysis of in situ Raman spectroscopy data to investigate reaction kinetics and mechanochemical reaction mechanisms.
